Vocal - Lyn Carr, Gladstone

Lyn Carr has been a prominent piano and voice teacher in Brisbane for 28 years, teaching all levels, from early beginner to Diploma. Lyn has been a regular Adjudicator (instrumental and vocal) in Brisbane and throughout Qld for more than ten years. She was formerly a Music Specialist at Secondary Schools both in Victoria and Qld during which time she trained many prize winning choirs.
Her professional career included numerous concerts, recitals together with principal roles or membership of the ensemble in operatic, light opera and music theatre productions in Australia and New Zealand.
She was formerly President of the Music Teachers’ Association Head Office, a member of the AMEB Qld Advisory Committee, co-ordinator of the Qld Piano Competition and a mentor for the Griffith University, Brisbane.

Pianist Regis Danillon's career as a performer has included solo recitals, chamber music and accompanying, and he has extensive experience as a teacher to students of all ages and levels.
After formal musical studies in France, Australia and England, Regis was appointed Lecturer in Piano at the Queensland Conservatorium of Music until 1995. He held a similar position at the Central Queensland Conservatorium in Mackay from 1999 to 2003, where he was part of the Music Theatre department, acting as an accompanist and musical director of several stage productions.
Since returning to Brisbane in 2004, he has concentrated his activities on teaching, adjudicating, examining and performing with singers and instrumentalists in a great variety of styles.

Petrea O’Shea has taught speech in both schools and her studio in Brisbane from 1958, and Toowoomba from 1970. She was appointed head of Music at Fairholme College in 1972.
She was appointed examiner with the Australian College of Music in 1968. She became the Speech and Drama co-ordinator for the College. In 2001 she became the President of the College and continued in that role until 2005. Petrea has been adjudicating throughout Qld since 1974.
